The Setting

Camp Forest Pines has everything that you've envisioned for your weekend camp wedding in Massachussetts' South Shore. With more than enough accommodations to hold your entire guest count, create a full wedding weekend you and your guests will never forget! Camp Forest Pines offers acres of woodlands, lake views, and dozens of activities.

Host your ceremony inside the camp village "circle of fire" or lakeside with a sun peaking canopy of tall green trees. Utilize the on-site wooden benches available at either site and plan in comfort knowing the barn's lower level serves as a perfect rain plan or indoor ceremony site. After the ceremony, transition to an outdoor cocktail hour with lawn games and refreshments, followed by a reception inside the camp's very own 2,950 square foot dining hall featuring wooden beams, twinkle lights and a full commercial kitchen available for your custom professional caterer of choice. End the night at a staff prepared camp fire or an after party inside the Stockade's "great-room" just across camp from the main reception hall.

Home Rental

There are four types of accommodations at this venue. Two are complimentary to include both the Stockade Cabin Area and the Village Cabin Area. Two are for rent to include the Duplex House and the Union house. Details for each below.

1 - The Stockade Cabin Area (Included with venue):
The Stockade Area encircles a large fire-pit and includes 14 cabins with bunk-style twin beds and one “Bunk House” w/ Double bed. 2 of the 14 are detached, while the others are connected. The Stockade feature rooms of varying sizes and configurations. Some rooms are only accessed through other rooms; some have individual access. The bunk-style beds are slightly more narrow than a standard twin. Linens are not included. Guests have access to restrooms (sinks, showers, toilets) on the main floor connected through a common area, with kitchenette and camp-stye dining area with picnic seating and lounge.

2 - The Village Cabin Area (Included with venue):
The Village Cabin Area includes 14 stand alone rustic summer-camp cabins. They feature screen windows, and 6 x bunk-sets each, sleeping 12 each. The bunk-style beds are slightly more narrow than a standard twin. Linens are not included. Cabins do not have restrooms inside. Rather, guests have access to two sets of detached restrooms (sinks, showers, toilets) that are available for all individuals staying in the village cabin area.

3 - Union House (For Rent)
Colonial Guest house that Sleeps 14. Featuring 6 bedrooms and 11 beds, and 2.5 bathrooms, located across the lake, featuring road access and lakefront views. Linens provided ($1,200 for two nights).

Sleeps 8 Total. 4 guests on each side of Duplex. Includes bedding, towels, basic supplies such as cups and plates, refrigerator and sink. No A/C, however units do have heat. ($500 for two nights. Includes Side A and Side B).

Policies

Mayflower Venues and the host have set some rules that you will be asked to agree to upon booking.

Venue Rental Policies

  • Event End Time: Late night receptions authorized
  • Smoking Policy: Smoking allowed only in designated areas.
  • Open Flame Policy: Permitted if contained in tip-proof container.
  • Pet Policy: Not permitted.
  • Decorations: You are able to decorate as you please without permanent changes to buildings such as drilling holes. Couples must clean up all decorations and adhesives i.e. staples and tape.
  • Fireworks: Not permitted.
  • Trash and Recycling: Trash cans provided for use during event. Couples must consolidate in on-site dumpsters after event.
  • Noise: No noise restrictions or local ordinance.
  • Venue Access: Exclusive venue access Saturday. Friday access for decoration and set-up after 5pm. Early drop-off considered upon request. Sunday access available until 12pm. Late check-out available up to 1pm for $250.
  • Kitchen Access: Use of kitchen or outdoor grill by non-commercial caterers $250. Includes required safety training and certified food safety rep in accordance with American Camp Association.
  • Tours: Tours limited to weekdays. Weekend tour exceptions upon request.

General Rental Policies

?
  • Insurance: Renters must secure a minimum $1M Special Event Liability Insurance liability policy from an approved vendor, or obtained through Mayflower Venues directly within 30 days of their event.
  • Security Deposit: In case of damages, Mayflower requires a $1,000 security deposit before any event.
  • Alcohol: Compliance with all local laws regarding alcohol service is required. At a minimum, bartenders must be certified and insured. Licensing must be in accordance with state laws.
  • Caterers: All caterers must be licensed and insured. Outside caterers permitted unless otherwise noted.
  • Vendors: All selected vendors must be certified, licensed and insured, and provide supporting documentation.
  • Trash and Recycling: Renters are responsible for cleaning and returning the venue to its original condition. This includes consolidation and disposal of all waste and recycling in accordance with venue rules, including food and alcohol waste, floral, decor, and signage. Renters must also remove any large temporary structures brought onto the property for their event. Failure to do so, may result in a security deposit deduction.
  • Tents: Outdoor venues require tent reservations to ensure adequate rain plan.
