Located just 90 minutes north of Boston, the Wells Reserve at Laudholm is one of Maine's best-kept secrets. Atop thousands of acres, you'll find beautiful 19th century farm buildings, barns, and grounds overlooking Wells Bay. Host your ceremony in the restored saltwater barn or along the fields among the trees as a breathtaking back drop. The barn is able to accommodate up to 150 guests, or up to 250 guests using the barn space as your cocktail hour with a spacious tent set up right outside. At The Wells Reserve at Laudholm, you're truly able to make your wedding day the one you've always envisioned.

Estate: The Topstone Chalet

Just an hour and a half from New York City, rests this small private estate, perfect for an intimate wedding weekend. The Topstone Chalet boasts a historic outdoor fire-pit, blossoming flowers, and a beautiful carriage house for use on your wedding day. Host your ceremony among the blossoming flower trees and then open the doors to the carriage house for a free-flowing beautiful cocktail hour. Place your reception tent right outside the carriage house and dance the night away with your closest family and friends by your side!

Farm: Oak Hill Christmas Tree Farm

Situated on 41 acres of pristine farmland and woods, abutting hundreds of acres of conservations land, sits the Oak Hill Christmas Tree Farm. Huge oak trees shade the house, which was built in the mid 1800’s, and like many farmhouses, modified over the years. It has a modern kitchen and large stone patio that serve the backyard venue. The gently undulating fields and backyard are what makes this venue so special. In particular, there is an amazing view of Mount Monadnock 32 miles to the NW in New Hampshire, visible on most summer days and spectacular in the fall. Originally a potato farm, this modest Christmas tree farm is home to one of Massachusetts's most unique wedding venues.

At Mayflower Venues, we love to discover new and unique venues that not only love to host our couples on their special day, but also give back to their communities.
