Bartending Service

Weven: What areas do you service and how would you describe the services you offer at The Bartending Service of New England?
Jillian: The Bartending Service of New England is a top shelf beverage company that has been operating for 27 years. We serve clients from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Southern New Hampshire, Southern Maine, and Northern Connecticut. We focus on special events such as weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, holiday parties, and any other special event in your life.

Weven: Can you tell all of our couples what makes The Bartending Service of New England best suited for custom weddings and nontraditional venues?
Jillian: It really comes down to our experience, flexibility, and knowledge of the industry. Our employees go above and beyond to provide exceptional service to each and every bride and groom to make their special day, special.

Weven: What is your favorite part about working at a venue or couple through the Weven Platform?
Jillian: Every couple and venue is unique and we enjoy adapting to each space. We’ve even offered themed wedding bars or cocktails -- It makes coming to work interesting.

Weven: What are some of the planning questions you always ask couples up front that they should be prepared to answer?
Jillian: We can always get the basics from inside Weven’s planning portal, like venue address, event hours or vendor restrictions. From the couple however, we always need to know their exact vision. Like do they want a cash or open bar? How many guests are they serving, when’s last call and what’s their budget? From there we can customize accordingly.

Weven: How do you help couples navigate the choices for bar service at their venue?
Jillian: We have a suggested beverage list from which the clients can tailor their specific requests and needs. We offer completely customizable bars too, meaning we are able to bring the ingredients for a signature drink, or other specialty beers they may like.

Weven: Do you allow couples to bring in their own alcohol?
Jillian: No. Due to the potential liability involved we only service events at which we procure the alcohol. Not every vendor is the same, but we feel it’s important to place the safety of guests, the venue and our business first so always include this in our package offering.

Weven: Do you offer all the tools, utensils and bars to support weddings at more nontraditional venues?
Jillian: Yes. We offer tables for bars, glassware, tubs for beer and wine chilling, ice, mixers, garnishes, straws, napkins, and we handle and remove all bar related trash. We also have barrel bars and champagne walls for rent should couples be interested.

Weven: How about ice and coolers? Do you take care of those details for couples?
Jillian: Yes we provide all ice and insulated coolers to keep beer and wine chilled. It just makes it easier on the couples if we can include it all at once so we include ice and coolers as part of our offering.

Weven: Who takes care of the set up and clean up for an event that you support?
Jillian: The best part about our services is you point, and we set up. Our bars can fit just about anywhere and we can accommodate our products to fit the “look” of your wedding! After the event our bartenders will take care of and remove any bar related trash so couples don’t have to worry about a thing and they’ll know their venue will be happy and taken care of.

Weven: What else should a couple know about planning their bar service at an outdoor or open space wedding venue?
Jillian: Hiring a licensed bartending service removes a lot of stress. All of our bartenders are TIPS certified and we can assure responsible handling of alcohol throughout the night. We also provide liability insurance for each event to mitigate risk. At the end of the day, this day is about the wedding couple and we will offer anything to make that day special for them.
